oorja is a collaboration app by Akshay Kumar, focusing on simplicity and strong privacy. It's a side project from my university days (~2017) that I've updated and improved in my free time as I've gained industry experience. Excited to share my creative outlet, I'm keen to hear your feedback. Expect some rough edges.
oorja is a Hindi word that means energy. It's pronounced like "oor-juh". I was looking for a short domain name that was available, .io also means input/output, so it's kinda neat? Also good to just type "oo" into the browser and hit enter to get to the app (if you've visited before).
